When students break off for holidays, they normally tend to have a relaxed attitude towards everything. They’ve this saying School’s been hectic, it’s time to shed off the stress.
Their next destinations are mostly night clubs, beaches, parties; typically entertainment places to as earlier said shed off the stress. The outcomes are often negative to their lives commonly drink – driving,  having unprotected sex and contracting infectious diseases needless to mention of course is juvenile delinquency. According to the Police, crime rates tend to go high at such times if the year.

To differ from the rest, only a few students restrain from such influences and concentrate on issues that develop them such as doing holiday work, helping their parents with domestic work and enlarging on their knowledge base as they read widely. Like these, let’s see how one can make
their holiday a useful one.

TIPS ON HAVING A USEFUL HOLIDAY
1. Be obedient:
This is key to having a successful holiday. You’re parents won’t have anything against you when trouble comes. They’ll know where you’re going and often give you some upkeep and facilitation for your parties. Building a child -parent relationship is essential for proper guidance and communication.
2. Be Innovative:
The world is going the entrepreneurship way, the earlier to developed a work plan for yourself,  the better. They say time waits for no man & time is money. I would like to here you saying I wish I did (a) (b) or (c) when I had time. Start now.
3. Meet People who inspire you:
My personal inspiration was my Uncle. I used to visit him every holiday and we’d chat conversationally than he’d do to even his own kids. From this interaction, I learnt a lot that I’ll never forget. You too can meet people that inspire you and therefrom, you could learn tips on how to turn you’re life around.
4. Reconcile: Reconciliation is key in building relationships not only with you’re spouses but also with yourself and the people around you. It could be your family, friends or relatives. If there’s anyone with whom you’ve a bone to pick, please walk up to them and get it done. This will not only mend the loose bond but will also relieve you internally and you’ll be good to move on.
5. Have sometime to yourself.
They say work without play makes Jack a dull boy. So sometime to yourself. It doesn’t matter how you use it for as long as you use it for the right thing.
6. Develop your talent.
Are you a writer, a sportsman, Artist, musician or comedian? You’ll never realize the potential in you unless you venture to try out your worth. Practice makes perfect so go out there and perfect your talent, you’ll see the difference. School can occupy 96% of your time, use the holiday as the advantage to compensate the missed.
7. Be holy.
Your family since time immemorial developed a certain degree of living both ethically and spiritually. I don’t find it wise for you to break it. Regardless of religious denomination, praise the Almighty and be holy. A Holly body is God’s temple as my teacher always said, Do the does and leave the don’ts. And avoid peer pressure; don’t do things because I’m doing them. I believe in the principle Do as I say and not as I do. One may not be perfect but that’s no justification for your behavior.
8. Set a standard & work towards it.
Having an individual principle will shield you from peer pressure. It will enable you have a strategy in place that will earn you respect in society. Setting an individual degree will distinguish you from the rest. People will stop judging you as “them” but as you.
9. Make some money.
Some of us have parents who ain’t the most supportive. To stand out on your own, one needs to find means of gathering some money to cater for somethings they don’t directly get from home or from their parents. This is called practising self independency. The more you to this, you’ll keep developing the potential to make it on your  own. You’re your own boss, Uh.
10. And lastly, act like you’re on holiday. Don’t make it look like you never have time off. Do holiday work, take tutorials, eat drink and sleep. Make new friends and have some fun. If you don’t, what will tell your classmates when school resumes?

What I’m trying to show you is how you holiday can become more than just a holiday. Part II is underway. Watch out.
